Department of Teaching and Studies

The Department of Teaching and Studies is the central point of contact for the further and quality development of courses as well as for the establishment and accreditation of degree programmes. In this way, it pools expertise in the areas of academic controlling and capacity planning, accreditation, internal evaluation, quality management, legal affairs in teaching and studies, continuing academic education and strategy development.

Department of Research, Junior Researchers and Transfer

The Department of Research, Junior Researchers and Transfer provides support in the initiation, application, calculation and implementation of projects, coordinates and networks initiatives and projects and procures information on research-promoting and research-financing institutions. The Department also identifies sources of funding for research projects, scientific events (conferences, congresses and workshops), publication and travel costs, scholarships and more. The Transfer unit provides all stakeholders with information on the research and cooperation potential of the University of Vechta: regionally, nationally and internationally.

Department of Occupational Health and Safety

The experts for Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Vechta pursue the goal of promoting the employees’ and students’ safety and health and of reducing dangers, stresses and strains at the workplace and place of study.
