Higher education policy
Since 2014, the University of Vechta has been a member of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), the voluntary association of state and state-recognised universities and higher education institutions in Germany.
At state level, the University of Vechta is represented in the State University Conference of Lower Saxony.
The German Science and Humanities Council provides recommendations on national higher education policy. It advises the Federal Government and the state governments on issues regarding content-related and structural development of higher education institutions, science and humanities and research.
